Ben Moore and Todd Lake first met in the early 1990's, performing music at the University of Maine while learning to become teachers. Today, they live about one mile from each other in Rutherford county. It wasn't long after Todd moved to town that the two began strumming and singing together, and knew that they had something special. The duo claims a variety of influences, but has an acoustic sound reminiscent of James Taylor and John Denver, with the harmonies of Simon and Garfunkel. They perform over 30 original songs, mixed with familiar favorites. Their strong Christian faith is evident in the family-oriented nature of their songs. Last year, the group released its first CD titled "Days To Remember," and have these available to purchase. They are also currently finishing up a new CD called "Captions Under A Photograph," and hope to have these available soon. The group invites you to "like" them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/lakeandmoorefolk, and keep checking the website for more information on the release of their new album, where they will be playing next, and how you can hire these guys to come and play for you!
